The engagement of Kelsey Gerber of Lehighton to Justin Brower of Cockeysville, Maryland, has been announced by her parents.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Blair and Leslie Gerber of Bethlehem, and Pamela Buchinsky of Lehighton. She earned a bachelor's degree in anthropology from Gettysburg College in 2013. She is a student and teaching assistant at American University, where she is working toward her master's degree in public archaeology.The prospective bridegroom is the son of Dr. Roy Brower and his wife, Theresa, of Cockeysville. He is a 2010 graduate of Gettysburg College and is currently working toward his master's degree in public management at Johns Hopkins University. He is the legislative assistant for congressman C.A. Dutch Ruppersberger.A wedding is planned for October of 2017.
