A Monroe County man threatened to harm three people using a baseball bat while being intoxicated, state police at Lehighton said.

The incident occurred at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday at 395 Dotters Corner Road, in Kunkletown, Polk Township. Troopers responded to that location and learned that Thomas Steven Yurick, 51, was intoxicated and belligerent and threatening to use a Louisville Slugger baseball bat to harm three peopleand property all at that location.He was taken into custody and charged with simple assault, terroristic threats, harassment, public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and unauthorized use of a automobile.
