The Palmerton Car Show will once again roll into the area from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Palmerton Borough Park.

Participants can register their vehicles from 10 a.m. to noon at the park. The registration fee is $10. Proceeds will benefit area youth recreation and sports programs.The first 100 vehicles will be given dash plaques, and awards will be announced at 2:30 p.m. But keep in mind, this is a "fun" show. All of the judges are members of the community and will have little or no experience judging vehicles.Awards will be presented for 25 different categories from Best Convertible and Best "Under Construction" to Highest 4x4 Truck and Best Grocery Getter - and everything in between.The car show is sponsored by Pace-Makers Association. Disc jockey music will be provided by JP and Company.Live entertainment will be in the park from 4 to 8 p.m., rain or shine.Pace-Makers Association also holds Cruise Nights on the first Friday of each month from May to September in the Palmerton Park.
