Richard Roper of Westford, Massachusetts, and Buffy Roper, of Fort Myers Beach, Florida, and formerly of Palmerton, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Mimi Roper, to Arthur Kell, son of Laura Kell of Westford and Ron Kell of Mill Valley, California.

Both Mimi and Arthur graduated from Westford Academy in 2007.The bride-to-be graduated cum laude from the University of South Carolina in 2011. She is a leasing manager at Golden Goose Properties in Durham, New Hampshire.The prospective bridegroom graduated from UMass Amherst in 2012 where he was an All-American Lacrosse player.An October 2016 wedding is planned.
