Three Franklin Township Little League teams posted victories in their respective tournaments over the weekend.

BLUE MOUNTAINBerlinsville-HellertownPat Mergel's grand slam propelled Hellertown to a 5-3 Blue Mountain League victory over Berlinsville.Berlinsville (15-20) was led offensively by recent Northwestern High School graduate Jake Augustus, who had two hits and knocked in a run. Northern Lehigh grad Cody Hallman added a hit and an RBI. Wieand had two hits and knocked in a run.Hazle Twp. 7-8 TournamentFT-Valley WestFranklin Township advanced to the championship game of the Hazle Township 7-8 year-old Little League Tournament with an 8-7 victory over Valley West.Franklin (8-0) remained undefeated in the tourney thanks to a strong offensive attack that featured three hits apiece from Aiden Solt and CJ Dietz. In addition, Jayse Lawrence, Carter Bellis and Zach Schrantz all had two hits for Franklin.Jimmy Cannon, Davic Yamulla, Teddy Petrovich had two hits for Valley West.
