Bear Creek Mountain Resort in Macungie was the setting for the Aug. 15 wedding of Nicole Smith, daughter of David and Nancy Smith of Lehighton, and Jon Yenser, son of Dennis and Jane Yenser, also from Lehighton. Officiating the double ring ceremony was Brian Godard, brother-in-law of the bride. Steve Green was the vocalist.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by her sister, Megan Godard of Bristol, Connecticut, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Courtney Castagnola of Philadelphia; Amanda Kane of Marmora, New Jersey; Devon Saltzer of Northampton; and the bridegroom's sisters, Amanda Yenser of Allentown and Laura Yenser of Catasauqua.Elliot Godard of Bristol, the bride's niece, was the flower girl.Best man honors were performed by Chris Saunders of Brownsville, Texas; Andy Leavitt of Jamison; and Neil Devani of San Francisco. Ushers were Chris Steigerwalt of Lehighton Ray Lenhart of Hellertown and Steve Green of Lehighton.Following the ceremony, the newlyweds received family and friends at the Bear Creek Mountain Resort. They honeymooned in Antigua.A bridal shower was held at Blue Shamrock Golf Club.The new Mrs. Yenser is a graduate of Misericordia University, where she earned a doctorate of physical therapy. She became a neurological certified specialist in 2014. She is currently employed as a physical therapist at Good Shepherd Rehabilitation in Allentown.Mr. Yenser is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in business management. He is currently employed as a regional client manager for OneCommand.The couple lives in Breinigsville.
