A Carbon County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following an incident that occurred around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday along Route 903 at Wargo Road in Penn Forest Township.

State police at Lehighton said Erica Elsbeth Hosfeld, 38, of Penn Forest Township, was stopped for an equipment violation and displayed signs of impairment and was taken into custody.Troopers said charges were filed.
