Tamaqua patrolman Rick Bekesy can't wait to get behind the wheel of the Tamaqua Police department's newest vehicle, a 2016 Ford Explorer with a Police Interceptor package. The vehicle was delivered to the department after it was purchased from KME in Nesquehoning for $39,875.72. Tamaqua Council approved the purchase on March 1. KATHY KUNKEL/TIMES NEWS
