Police have reported the following retail thefts:

• Shawn Thomas Martin, 32, of Effort, has been charged with retail theft (shoplifting) by state police at the Fern Ridge barracks.Police said it is alleged he stole $11 in merchandise from the Weis Market, Route 209 and Weir Lake Road, Chestnuthill Township on April 25 at 2:25 p.m.• A Schuylkill County woman is facing a charge of retail theft. State police at Schuylkill Haven said Tiffany Binder, of Saint Clair, entered Weis Market, in the Pottsville Park Plaza, Route 61, Norwegian Township, at 2 p.m. May 3 and was observed by store personnel removing items from shelves and placing them into her purse and exiting the store without paying for the items.• State police at Schuylkill Haven said Tracy Miller, 42, and Kevin Strause, 36, no address given, entered the Dollar General Store, located at 594 Route 183, in Wayne Township, about 10:45 a.m. on Sunday and removed merchandise from the shelving and left the store without paying for the items. Charges will be filed with District Judge James Ferrier of Orwigsburg.
