Two Times News area tennis teams have qualified for the District 11 team championships.

Palmerton and Lehighton have both earned spots in the Class AA field, which consists of eight teams.The Blue Bombers, who sport a record of 12-6, received the No. 5 seed and will take on fourth-seeded Allentown Central Catholic in the quarterfinal round. The match will take place Saturday.The Indians, meanwhile, have compiled a 9-5 record this season and gained the No. 8 seed. They will travel to top-seeded Moravian Academy on Saturday with a start time of 10 a.m.The rest of the bracket has No. 6 Pen Argyl at No. 3 Saucon Valley, and No. 7 Bethlehem Catholic at No. 2 Blue Mountain.The semifinals will take place Tuesday, May 3 at the higher-seeded teams, and the finals will be Thursday, May 5 at Lehigh University.
