Pennsylvania developer buys former Nazareth Speedway

NAZARETH, Pa. (AP) - A Pennsylvania developer has bought the former Nazareth Speedway.

Lehigh Valley developer David Jaindl confirmed Thursday that he purchased the 157-acre property in Lower Nazareth Township, Northampton County.Jaindl is a turkey farmer and real estate developer. He has no specific plans for the property, but says at least some of it will be used for farming.The Nazareth Speedway closed in 2004. It was the home track of local race car drivers Mario and Michael Andretti (an-DREHT'-ee).
