Palmerton Police Department is investigating the following incidents:

Disorderly conductCriminal charges have been filed against Troy Kuntzman, 38, of 375 Lehigh Ave., Palmerton, for aggravated assault, persistent disorderly conduct, harassment and resisting arrest. The incident occurred on Jan. 3 at 6:53 p.m. in the 300 block of Lehigh Avenue.Criminal charges were filed against Sean Compton, 22, of 165 Tar Run Road, Lehighton, for simple assault, disorderly conduct, and false ID to law enforcement. Charges were also filed against Gregg Romig Jr., 21, of 152 Lehigh Avenue, Palmerton, and Matthew Arndt, 24, of 642 Franklin Avenue, Palmerton, for simple assault and disorderly conduct. Charges were also filed against Samantha James, 21, of 2058 Maple Avenue, Apt. V-5, Hatfield, for false reports, and disorderly conduct. The incident occurred on May 26 at 11:07 p.m. in the 100 block of Lehigh Avenue.HarassmentCriminal charges were filed against Christopher Moyer, 35, of 423 Columbia Ave., Palmerton, for two counts of simple assault and harassment. The incident occurred on Jan. 3 at 11:12 p.m. in the 400 block of Columbia Avenue.Traffic violationMichael Kemmerer, 35, of 144 Shenkel Road, Effort, was cited for driving vehicle at safe speed. The violation occurred on Jan. 5 at 9:37 a.m. at Delaware Avenue and Third Street.Vehicle violationCitations were filed against John Paul IV, 30, of 1063 Mosser Road, H105, Breinigsville, for expired inspection and no emissions. The violations occurred on Jan. 7 at 7:29 a.m. in the 300 block of Delaware Avenue.
