A Virginia man is facing drug charges in Monroe County.

State police at Fern Ridge said at 10:20 p.m. troopers responded to Kinsley's ShopRite parking lot in Chestnuthill Township, for a reported retail theft incident. On scene the individual in custody for the theft told troopers he had a friend inside a vehicle waiting outside the store for him. Contact was made with the individual, who was identified as Robert Leon Renfrow, 27, of Gloucester. The odor of marijuana was emanating from the vehicle and a consent search was conducted. Found in the glove box of the vehicle was a grinder, which still contained a small amount of suspected marijuana. Renfrow was seated in front of the glove box.He was taken into custody and transported to the county processing center and later released. Charges were filed.
