An Effort man is facing a charge of retail theft.

State police at Fern Ridge said Bryan Sookbirsingh, 27, entered Kinsley's ShopRite, 107 Kinsley Drive in Brodheadsville at 2:20 p.m. Friday and stole several items from the store. Charges were filed.
