Go on a tree identification hike with the resident forester at 2 p.m. Sunday and learn about the variety of trees in Beltzville State Park. Then return and participate in the restoration of the Beltzville Garden and amphitheater at 3 p.m. It will be a place for folks to come for reflection, peace and quiet.

The Friends of Beltzville are looking for those who love the outdoors and enjoy giving back to their community and environment. Bring your best walking shoes, gloves and garden tools. All ages are invited but minors must be accompanied by an adult.The meeting is at the environmental center, rain or shine, free snacks available.
