The Garden of Giving is looking forward to the United Way Day of Caring, a one-day event for the community to come together to provide hands-on services to the United Way, its partners, and other local nonprofits, which will take place on Thursday.At the end of the day a thank-you picnic will be held at Barley Creek Brewing Company in Tannersville for all who participate. Dr. Irving Cotto, district superintendent of the Northeast district, will preach the sermon at 9:30 a.m.Participants are asked to bring a covered dish to share after the worship. Beverages will be provided. There will be children's games and a cake walk so bring a cake.
