Slatington police report

Slatington police reported on the following incidents.

• On Aug. 26 at 1:56 a.m. officers responded to the Sunoco A Plus at 160 Main St., for a suspicious person. As a result, Ashly Thomas, 32, of 534 Long Lane Road, Walnutport, has been charged with loitering for the purpose of prostitution. She was arraigned before a district judge and failed to post $5,000 bail and was placed in the Lehigh County prison.• On Aug. 30 at 8:37 p.m. officers went to 31 Dowell St., first floor, for a welfare check. As a result, police have charged Margaret White, 32, of that address, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.• On Sept. 1, at 6:10 p.m. officers made a vehicle stop at Main and Factory streets. As a result Shawn Kolb, 40, of 309 Prospect St., Weissport, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.• On Sept. 4 at 7:53 p.m. officers responded to the Highlander Laundromat, 75 N. Walnut St., for a trespass report. On scene officers placed Robert Oswald, 51, of 217 Main St., Slatington, under arrest for defiant trespass.• On Sept. 6 at 11:06 p.m. officers responded to 716 Main St. for a lock out of business call. As a result David Georgis, 59, of 700 Main St., Slatington, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was also taken into custody on a warrant issued out of Northampton County.
