Misericordia University recently presented Deborah Keys of Jim Thorpe with the Service-Learning Leadership Award at the annual Honors and Awards Ceremony in Lemmond Theater in Walsh Hall on campus.

Kevin Feifer, director of service-learning, made the presentation.The award is given to a student who is nominated by a faculty member for his or her community-based work that was initiated in a service-learning course and who also shows evidence of active community service and the potential for continued service in a leadership role.
