DA, coroner investigate man's death under LV railroad bridge

CATASAUQUA (AP) - The coroner and district attorney are investigating the death of a man beneath a railroad bridge in eastern Pennsylvania.

The (Allentown) Morning Call reports the body was found at 3:12 a.m. Monday in Catasauqua.

The Lehigh County coroner's office planned an autopsy Tuesday, and officials there did not immediate release additional information about the death.

Catasauqua police Chief Douglas Kish says the district attorney's office will be handling inquiries about the death investigation. Officials there also weren't immediately available early Tuesday.

The coroner's office says the dead man was a 62-year-old resident of Whitehall Township.

It wasn't immediately clear who found the victim or how.
