A Monroe County man is facing multiple charges following an incident that occurred at 7:30 a.m. on Aug. 31.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said Daniel Columna, 38, of Tobyhanna, arrived at the residence on the 7000 block of Crestview Drive in A Pocono Country Place, Coolbaugh Township, and forced his way into the home. He then assaulted the residents.Columna was later located and placed under arrest. He was arraigned before a district judge on felony charges of burglary, criminal trespass, recklessly endangering another person and simple assault, both misdemeanors, and other related charged plus two summary offenses.He was committed to the county prison in Snydersville after failing to post $15,000 straight cash bail. However, bond was later posted and he was released. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 13 at 10 a.m. before DJ Anthony Fluegel.
