The Carbon County Labor Chapter will hold a special meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Democratic Information Center located at 184 S. First St. in Lehighton.

The meeting will begin the process of interviewing candidates who were successful in the recent primary election. The Labor Chapter is an affiliate of the AFL-CIO, and seeks to provide a voice for working families in the Carbon County and Hazleton area.Retired and active union members are invited to attend as well as those who support the ideals of the labor movement.For more information contact Roy Christman, chapter secretary, at 610-377-0235.
