Lehigh University sophomore Jacen Nalesnik of Lehighton was named to the Academic All-Patriot League team recently. Nalesnik was one of two Mountain Hawks representing Lehigh on the 13-player team that recognizes strength in the classroom and on the field.

Nalesnik holds a 3.31 GPA in Lehigh's College of Arts and Sciences. Lehigh's starting right fielder finished the regular season hitting .323 overall and is tied for second on the team with 28 RBI. Nalesnik leads Lehigh with 14 two-out RBI and seven sacrifice bunts. He earned a spot on the Patriot League Academic Honor roll a season ago and grabs his first Academic All-League honor.The Mountain Hawks won the Patriot League Championship last weekend and are now waiting to see who they will face in the NCAA Championships.
