State police at Fern Ridge reported issuing citations for harassment to five people in two separate incidents.

Troopers said Kathryn J. Kresge, 57, Tonya L. Gersterberg, 45, both of Effort; Elaine W. Hughes, 48, and Jami L. Gilman, 44, both of Kunkletown, were all cited following an incident that occurred at 6 p.m. on Tuesday in the area of 608 Westbrook Road in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Troopers said the four were involved in a verbal argument that resulted in a physical altercation.Troopers said Jaime Sostre, of Albrightsville, was cited following an incident that occurred at 7:20 a.m. Tuesday at 49 Parker Trail in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County.Troopers said Sostre assaulted Jessica Marie Orovich, of Albrightsville, during an argument by slapping and wrestling with her in their residence. Troopers further stated Sostre also threw a chair and water bottle at her.
