Mountain Karate Academy awarded new black belts to Shelby Heater and Cayla Williamsat their black belt ceremony, held at the Lehighton Dojang, in January. Mountain Karate is presently celebrating its 25th anniversary. It is a charter school with the Eastern USA International Martial Arts Association.
