The Lansford Businessmen's Association is investigating the possibility of creating a road over the mountain from Lansford to Hauto, linking the Panther Valley to the Hauto Valley.

The businessmen consider the linking of the two valleys as of vital importance and are looking at ways to develop a good, short road between the two areas.The distance between Lansford and Hauto, as the crow flies, is less than one mile. The driving distance is 12 miles.
