Daffodil Day Sales for the 2015 Northeast Pa. and Greater Lehigh Daffodil Campaign to Fight Cancer are underway.

Event organizer Lisa Hiles said the volunteers who organized the 2015 Daffodil Campaign are the same volunteers who have produced the annual American Cancer Society Telethon for 36 years.Many have volunteered for the Carbon-Tamaqua Unit for decades, and many are the same people who made the American Cancer Society's Daffodil Days campaign such a successful tradition in the area, Hiles said.She said the group is excited the telethon and daffodil committees have joined forces to help ACS defeat cancer.Hiles said special thanks go out to event sponsors BTM Incorporated Industrial Precision Machining Specialist, van Hoekelen Greenhouses, Guys Flowers and Hiles Bros. Companies."I feel very proud to be part of this campaign because it is a community effort that brings people together to fight such a horrible disease," Hiles said.
