College basketball fans can put their knowledge to the test through a pair of 2015 college basketball bracket game contests through the Time News.

www.tnonline.com/contest.People may either participate in the upfront contest, round by round contest, or both, according to Kevin Hardy, Times News regional advertising director."These are new things to bring out to the public to give them new things to play and be excited about," Hardy said.The contests are being sponsored by Popcorn Buddha of East Stroudsburg and Peter J. Radocha & Sons Inc. of Coaldale.In the upfront contest, participants pick all games before the 2015 National Collegiate Athletic Association men's basketball tournament begins. Players can start a new bracket prior to round of 16 and round of 4.As for the round-by-round contest, each game is open for picking until 15 minutes before tip off.Winners can receive local prizes, such as a $20 gift certificate to Popcorn Buddha, as well as Lehigh Valley IronPigs gift certificates.National prizes include $1 million for a perfect bracket; $10,000 for one or two incorrect picks; $1,000 for three wrong picks; a Kindle Fire HDX for overall national high scores and round 16 and round 4 winners; and fatheads for national round-by-round, and round 16 and round 4 winners.Hardy said readers should watch for the next contest that will be offered by the Times News, the Cutest Pets Contest.
