Driver jailed after Schuylkill crash

A Schuylkill County driver involved in a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday was found to be a wanted person and driving without a valid license. He was arrested and jailed.

State police at Frackville said the crash occurred at 7:20 a.m. along Route 924 in East Union Township.Troopers said Joshua T. Llewellyn, 25, of Ringtown, was driving a 2013 Ford Escape southbound when he lost control. His vehicle entered the northbound lane where it collided into a 2011 Nissan Sentra driven by Linda M. Lorah, 61, of Ringtown.After impact the Escape struck an embankment along the east berm, then rolled over onto its driver side. No one was injured.Troopers said a records check showed Llewellyn's license was under suspension and that he was wanted by Luzerne County Probation and Parole for a probation violation. He was arrested and placed in the county prison in Pottsville on the Luzerne warrant.Troopers said he will also be charged with driving under suspension and several traffic violations as the result of the crash.
