Penn's Peak concerts announced

Ten more concerts for 2015 have been announced at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe, including Poison lead singer and TV star Bret Michaels, country stars Clint Black and Mary Chapin Carpenter, and the return of Three Dog Night.

Tickets for seven of the shows go on sale this weekend to the general public.The concerts are:• April 16 Bret Michaels (Tickets on sale March 6 at 10 a.m.).• April 17 Mary Chapin Carpenter, with special guest Lunasa. Tickets are available.• May 2 Southern Roads Tour 2015 featuring Atlanta Rhythm Section & The Georgia Satellites. Tickets are available.• June 12 The Weight performing the music of the Band. (Tickets on sale March 7).• June 27 Live Wire and the Land of Ozz (Tickets on sale March 7).• July 19 38 special. (Tickets on sale March 7).• July 23 Arrival, the Music of Abba. Tickets are available.• Sept. 10 Jamey Johnson (Tickets on sale March 7).• Oct. 15 Clint Black (Tickets on sale March 7).• Nov. 20 Three Dog Night (Tickets on sale March 7).Michaels, a native of Western Pennsylvania, first gained fame as a member of Poison, which sold over 45 million records worldwide and is best known for the song "Every Rose Has Its Thorn."Michaels recorded his first solo album in 1998 titled "A Letter from Death Row," which was the soundtrack to the same-titled movie he directed, wrote and starred in. In 2000 Michaels released the album "Show Me Your Hits," which featured rerecorded Poison classics.He starred in the reality television dating competition series "Rock of Love with Bret Michaels," the first season of which premiered in July 2007.
