Betty Korpics of Palmerton recently celebrated her 90th birthday. She was born July 5, 1925.

She was the first generation in her family born in the United States. Her parents immigrated from Hungary. She was married to Ernest Korpics, who passed away in 1999.She is the last of her brothers and sisters.Betty has a daughter, Jane Korpics Yeager, married to Ronald Yeager. She has two grandchildren: Selene Yeager, married to David Pryor; and Kirk Yeager, married to Deborah Friedman.She has three great-grandchildren: Juniper Pryor, Jared Yeager and Alec Yeager.She attended Sacred Heart in Palmerton.Betty has been a guest at Tranquil Living in Palmerton for over a year.
