State police at Lehighton are investigating two theft incidents one involving the theft of a trailer and the other construction equipment.

Troopers said a 46-year-old man, living on Blackberry Lane, Jim Thorpe, reported a construction tool and ladder were stolen from that location sometime between Sunday at 8 p.m. and Tuesday at 6 a.m.A 45-year-old man from Kunkletown reported someone entered the parking lot of Hawk Trucking, located in the 5000 block of Silver Springs Road, Polk Township, Monroe County, and stole a 48-foot flatbed trailer with state registration 6T5256N. The theft occurred sometime between June 15 and Monday.Anyone with information concerning either incident is asked to call troopers at 610-681-1850.
