A runaway dump truck has destroyed a car and a garage in Lower Towamensing Township. The incident occurred just after 11

a.m.Friday as the truck was getting front brakes installed. During the process the truck rolled down a grade, striking a car and then into a garage attached to a home. The incident is being investigatedby state police at Lehighton.
