Rush Township Police arrested a Walnutport man on Jan. 25 after an incident at the HT Commons Walmart in Hometown.

Eric Messick, 31, was in the store at 3:22 p.m. and began annoying employees and customers, running around causing a disturbance. He appeared to be intoxicated.A records check determined there were warrants for Messick's arrest, issued by authorities in Northampton and Lehigh counties.He was arraigned before District Judge James Ferrier on charges of making terroristic threats, resisting arrest, simple assault, disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and harassment, then lodged in the Schuylkill County Prison, Pottsville, due to the warrants.
