Palmerton senior Jade Farquhar and Wilson's Phil Pierfy were named Colonial League Girls and Boys Basketball MVP's recently.

Farquhar, who is averaging 18.2 points per game, was the leading scorer and rebounder for the Lady Bombers, who enter District 11 play against Salisbury on Friday night at Catasauqua.Pierfy is aveaging 20.4 points per game and had 13 points in Tuesday night's District 11 playoff win over Palisades.
