Fire companies from West Penn, New Ringgold, Walker Township and Tamaqua were dispatched to a garage fire Tuesday afternoon in West Penn township. The fire was reported at 34 Chain Circle just south of Mush Dahl road. Family members along with West Penn fire fighters managed to bring the fire under control. Heavy black smoke was rolling out of the wood frame structure.
