Luzerne County Coroner William W. Lisman has released the name of the young man who died as a result of drowning at Hickory Run State Park Tuesday morning.

Tamir Scott, 15, of Philadelphia was pronounced dead at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital after being transported from the park.Scott was a camper with the nonprofit group, House of Umoja, out of Philadelphia. The group was renting Camp Shehaqua at the time of the drowning.According to Assistant Park Manager Brian Heath there were 30 to 35 campers at the pool at the time of the drowning and there was a lifeguard present.
