Students in the Tamaqua Elementary School's enrichment class looked as though theycould have been playing hooky Friday morning, but were actually learning some practical aspects of math and art. Students traveled to the M&S Hardware Store in Tamaqua for a demonstration by chain saw artist Jesse Green, who has appeared on the National Geographic Show "American Chainsaw." Green explained how he uses math to makemeasurements before he begins making cuts with his chain saw, noting his work is "art that needs no explanation. You know what it is and what it represents just by looking at it."
