Lansford woman faces DUI, other charges

Audrey Warner, 32, of Lansford, faces charges from an incident that happened in the 100 block of West Patterson Street in the borough.

She is charged with driving under the influence, careless driving, and driving without a license.According to an affidavit of probable cause filed by officer Richard Reis, here's what happened:At 11:18 p.m. May 26, he was sent to a car crash at 112 W. Patterson St. Summit Hill police were already there because Reis had been on another assignment.Summit Hill officer Joseph David said one of the people involved had been taken to St. Luke's Hospital - Miners Campus, Coaldale, for a blood test.He said the person had refused a field sobriety test, and admitted to having been drinking alcohol and taking pills.Reis arrived at the hospital and spoke with the person, Warner, who agreed to the test.The tests revealed a blood-alcohol content of 0.170 percent. The legal threshold for impaired driving is 0.08 percent.Warner remains free on $1,000 unsecured bail.
