A storage trailer in Lower Towamensing Township was destroyed after it caught fire just after noon on Thursday.

The Aquashicola Volunteer Fire Department received the call at 12:05 p.m. and arrived on scene at 1615 Dairy Road at 12:15 p.m., according to fire chief Bill George.Upon arrival, George said flames were showing from the trailer, which is owned by Ronald Behler."They were burning rubbish," George said. "They left it unattended, and it got over to their storage trailer."George said there were no injuries, as no one was there at the time the fire broke out.He said firefighters had the fire under control within about 15 minutes."They made a good stop," he said.Also assisting at the scene were the Palmerton Fire Department, Bowmanstown Volunteer Fire Department, Diamond Fire Company of Walnutport and Palmerton Community Ambulance.
