A Carbon County man was jailed on Saturday following an incident in the 200 block of White Street in Weissport.

State police at Lehighton said troopers responded to that location at 12:51 a.m. after a 911 call was received from Travis J. Schoenberger, 26, of Lehighton, who requested for police to respond to that area for unknown reasons.On scene troopers found Schoenberger yelling and using profanity. It was determined he was under the influence of a controlled substance.Before being arrested he refused verbal commands and resisted being handcuffed. After being placed in custody he was placed in the county prison in Nesquehoning and charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
