A hit-and-run occurred at 1:25 p.m. on Sunday along Forest Inn Road in Lower Towamensing Township.

State police at Lehighton said Tabitha Ulrich, 40, of Palmerton, was driving a 2001 Ford Escort northbound and stopped for a vehicle in front of hers, which was attempting a left turn.Another vehicle came up behind Ulrich and struck the rear of her vehicle.After impact the other driver fled the scene, traveling north.Ulrich was not injured and damages were minor to the rear bumper. The hit-and-run driver was a white male with short, dark hair. There was no description of the hit-and-run vehicle.
