Today’s Schuylkill and Colonial League cross meets have been postponed because of the forecast for heavy rains in the area.

Both league will now run their championship meets on Thursday.

The Schuylkill League meet will be held at Tuscarora Park with the girls getting underway at 2:45 p.m. and the boys starting at 3:30 p.m.

The Colonial League Meet will be held at DeSales University with the girls meet starting at 3:15 p.m. and the boys meet beginning at 4 p.m.

The Marian volleyball team and Northwestern girls soccer teams will also be playing for league championships on Thursday.

The Fillies will face rival Nativity at 7 p.m. at Martz Hall in Pottsville for the Schuylkill League championship. The Lady Tigers will meet Saucon Valley at 7:30 p.m. at Salisbury High School for the Colonial League title.
