Campus police on planned to station officers at the HUB on Monday. The HUB is a center of campus social life that includes various eateries and other places students meet to socialize and was mentioned in the threat on Yik Yak as the place where the shooting would occur at noon Monday.

University spokeswoman Lisa Powers on Sunday said, "University police are aware and have been investigating and monitoring social media since early this morning."

The threat was posted about 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

Powers says while police don't know if the threat is credible they are "working vigorously on determining its origin and validity."
