More than 80 percent of Penn Forest Township residents have been notified of their new addresses under the township's ongoing standards addressing project.

According to Pocono GIS, the firm hired to conduct the project, 4,480 of 5,371 residents have received their new addresses.The project involves subdivisions and developments in Towamensing Trails, Indian Mountain Lakes, Mount Pocahontas, Penn Forest Acres, Stone Ridge Estates, Valley View Estates, Penn Forest Streams, Pleasant Valley West, Bear Creek Lakes and Stoney Creek Acres South.
