Tamaqua's Second Annual Pink Light Walk will be held Oct. 4 and will follow the same walking route as the 2013 event. The walk is being held to help raise awareness of breast cancer and is coordinated by Rachael Paisley, ambassador to Girl Scout Troop 31211.

Walkers will begin at the Bungalow Park Pavilion at 5 p.m., then proceed to Broad Street, ending at Depot Square Park. Registration will begin at 4 p.m. that day. The event will be held rain or shine.For further information, call 570-578-5196, 570-578-5176 or email
