Stephanie J. Hoffecker, 23, and Lindsey M. Hoffecker, 25, both of Schuylkill Haven, will be cited on retail theft charges after they were caught removing merchandise from the Sears department store in the Schuylkill Mall, New Castle Township.

State police at the Frackville barracks said the incident happened at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday when the suspects attempted to steal the merchandise but were confronted by Sears' loss prevention personnel.
