SCFCA All-Star game postponed until Friday

Twenty players from the Times News coverage area will take part in the annual Schuylkill County Football Coaches Association All-Star Game.

The contest, which was scheduled to be played on Wednesday, Nov. 26 at 7 p.m. at Rotary Field in Schuylkill Haven, has been rescheduled to Friday at 7 p.m.All the area players will be part of the North team that is comprised of players from Jim Thorpe, Lehighton, Marian, Mahanoy Area, North Schuylkill, Panther Valley, Shenandoah and Tamaqua. The South team is made up of players from Tri-Valley, Williams Valley, Blue Mountain, Pottsville, Pine Grove, Nativity, Minersville and Schuylkill Haven.Panther Valley's Matt Davis will coach the North team and Williams Valley's Tim Savage will guide the South.Marian leads the local contigent with six players in the game.
