State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a scattering of rubbish incident at a Monroe County business.

Troopers said someone placed a garbage bag full of food items at Lynn's Motel, located at 2642 Route 115 in Chestnuthill Township. The bag was found at 1 p.m. on Sunday. The property is owned by Jerry Lynn, 59.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at 570-646-2271.
