Rain tonight, snow Wednesday

A period of heavy rain early Monday could lead to ponding of water in poor drainage areas.

A coastal storm will impact the area Wednesday and Wednesday night.

A substantial accumulation is expected and will affect Thanksgiving travel.

Tonight: Periods of rain, mainly after 11pm. The rain could be heavy at times. Patchy fog after 1am. Low around 44. Light southeast wind increasing to 8 to 13 mph in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Monday: Showers likely, mainly before 7am. Patchy fog before 8am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 66. South wind 13 to 17 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Monday Night: A chance of showers before midnight. Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly clear, with a low around 40. West wind 9 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 49. West wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Tuesday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 31. West wind 5 to 7 mph.

Wednesday: Snow, mainly after 10am. High near 37. Chance of precipitation is 100%.
