The Tamaqua 809 U-13 team won the postseason championship of the Schuylkill County U-13 Girls Soccer League. The team finished in second place with an 8-1 record during the league's regular season. In the playoffs at Rotary Field in Schuylkill Haven, Tamaqua defeated, Shenandoah 705 in the semifinals and Minersville 209 in penalty kicks in the finals. Tamaqua didn't allow a goal in the playoffs.
